Through the Mail Autograph
Thank you Jake for the autographs. I received this a few weeks ago and finally got around to putting up a video. I like Jake as a fighter and ambassador to the sport. He’s been fighting for over 15 years and has always been an underrated and kind of an underdog type fighter. He’s defeated absolute killers like Tyron Woodley, Carlos Condit, Robbie Lawler, Dan Henderson, and Jason Miller.
As I’m writing this, I just found out that the UFC released him. It is truly a sad day in this fan’s eyes. Shields doesn’t have knockout power and flashy moves, but he’s determined, has heart, and will grind you out.
I’m hoping Jake bounces back and comes back in another organization stronger than ever.
Thank you for the autographs!
I am a fan of Ryan Bader. He has the knockout power and the wrestling background like Cain Velasquez and Jon Jones. His fights are exciting, and he puts on a good show for the fans.
The last several fights have been up and down. He lost against Glover Teixeira and Lyoto Machida, but won recently against Anthony Perosh late last year. I look forward to seeing Ryan back in the Octagon in a few months when he takes on Rafael Cavalcante.
Thank you Ryan for the autographs!!
Chris Leben is without a doubt, one of my favorite UFC fighters. He puts his heart and soul into the Octagon and has provided fans with hours of exciting fights.
I am honored to have a few of his autographs. I sent these out about four months ago and was excited to get these back. You can probably tell in my voice how excited I was. He signed a total of five cards. Four were in a pretty sweet blue sharpie. One was in black. Very appreciative and still in awe.
Thank you Chris!
I was pretty excited to get this one back. None other than Cung Le. I am a fan of his because he’s been in the martial arts world for so long. I remember watching ESPN late at night and I would see him in San Shou fights and he would always be taking guys down. Then he transitioned to MMA, he did well in Strikeforce and now in the UFC.
I also met him in person a few times. The first thing I noticed was how cut and buff he was. I asked him what his routine was and he said he’s in the gym all the time. Not bad for a guy in his 40s. I hope he fights a few more times before he retires.
UFC Through the Mail Autograph (TTM) Show Off – 3/12/2014 – Tyron “the Chosen One” Woodley & Letter from the UFC
Showing off another through the mail autograph (TTM). This is of up and comer Tyron Woodley. He’s had some explosive fights, most recently knockout Josh Koscheck.
This TTM came back in about a week. Really happy about the success of this one and he’s fighting in a few days against Carlos Condit. Tyron Woodley signed a total of three cards. One came back really the nice and the other two were a bit blotchy. Next time, I might have to send a sharpie. Overall, definitely a score and looking forward to a fantastic fight on Saturday.
Lastly, I also got a letter from the UFC just to acknowledge some recent autograph requests I sent. They really didn’t have to do that, but it was a nice gesture.
I said it once and I’ll say it again, Dana White and the UFC treat their fans better than any other sports league.
This is a quickie video. I received a few new autographs from one of my all time favorite fighters Randy “the Natural” Couture. I’ve been a fan of his for so long, and he’s truly left everything in the ring. Couture has had such amazing battles against Chuck Liddell, Vitor Belfort, and Pedro Rizzo to name a few. My favorite moments of Randy were when he dominated Tim Sylvia and Gabriel Gonzaga. On top of that, he put James Toney in his place.
Salute to Captain America!
UFC (TTM) Autographs Show Off – 3/10/2014 – Two of the best Lightweights (feat Gilbert Melendez + 1 more former champ)
Today I received two UFC through the mail (TTM) autographs. Both came back in a very short time within a few weeks. The one I was really excited about was Gilbert Melendez. He resigned with the UFC, will be doing the Ultimate Fighter against Anthony Pettis, and has a lot to prove. He signed a total of four cards and made them out to me.
The other one I was a bit disappointed with as you can tell in my video.
Thanks for watching!
