UFC Fan Expo
The 2014 UFC Fan expo was the best one since it’s inception. Very well organized, lots of fighters and good energy.

I never thought I would be showcasing anything Michael Bisping. I wasn’t a fan of him and was trying to meet Brittany Palmer and Jens Pulver. BUT I met him and glad I did. He was battling an eye issue and looked pretty uncomfortable, but was taking pictures, signing autographs and joking around with everyone.
I still don’t care of his trash talk and antics, but to the fans, he’s great!
I was lucky enough to meet Jens Pulver at the expo. He is one of the pioneers of MMA and one of the bigger names in the UFC’s early stages. I still remember his win over BJ many years ago.
Lil Evil is classy, humble and down to earth. Very happy to have met him.
I met Cub Swanson on Sunday 7/6/14 at the UFC Fan Expo. He was signing at the UFC Fight Pass booth. I was second in line, and he happily signed a promo and Topps card in gold sharpie.
Overall, he was a pleasant and respectable guy. Just on appearances, he looks like a scary and intimidating guy. But looks are always deceiving. I look forward to seeing him in the Octagon soon!
I wanted to share my experience meeting TJ Dillashaw during the International Fight Week in Las Vegas. I met him on Friday 7/4/14 at the El Cortez hotel in old downtown Las Vegas from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. He was signing with Vanessa Hanson.
The line was pretty short only about 15 minutes long because TJ is a new champion, having recent defeated Renan Barao at UFC 173. During our conversation, I mentioned how excited I was when he defeated Barao and hope he takes care of business again in the rematch. He’s a pretty nice guy, very humble, and soft spoken too.
I got two things signed, 1 8×10 promo and a glove.
I wanted to share my experience meeting John “the Magician” Dodson at the 2014 UFC Fan Expo. I met him on Sunday 7/6/14 at the UFC sponsored booth at the 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm signing.
For starters, I really like Dodson because he finishes his fights, typically by knockout. Last year, I missed seeing him at the fan expo. This year, I made it one of my priorities to meet him.
Dodson is a really cool guy, very friendly and open to the fans. When I met him, he took his time signing all my things, made sure I had something for my friends, and had a good conversation about Topps cards and training in general.
I got seven things signed, three 8×10 promo, and four Topps cards. Overall, I’m glad I met him and will be happy to see him back in the Octagon.
I wanted to share my experience meeting Travis Browne at the 2014 UFC Fan Expo. I met him on Saturday 7/5/14 at the UFC sponsored booth at the 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm signing.
Just on looks, Travis is one scary dude. He’s over 6’6, large, muscular, and if I saw him on the street, I’d probably walk the other way.
After meeting him, I was amazed about how cool he was. I chatted him up about his fight against Overeem, and I thanked him for kicking his ass. He laughed and said a lot of people say the same thing and that it was his pleasure. I got three things signed, one 8×10 promo, and a couple of cards. Overall, he was really nice to the fans, very friendly, and I’ll definitely be rooting for him when he returns.
