This is my second post of the day. The first one was a non-UFC one and I have to end the day with a UFC show off.
I got these sets a while back. No spectacular cards, but as a whole, very spectacular. I love the artwork, the statistics, and the details on each card. Also, common base cards are very inexpensive. I got each set for less than $10. I’m planning on mailing these cards out to the fighters and getting some cool autographs!
PS: Half of the video is me trying to open up the freaking packaging. 🙂
Happy Post Valentine’s Day. Hopefully everyone is recovering from their expensive dinners, jewelry, roses and chocolate. I’m celebrating by showing off my Karl Malone graded rookie card. When I was recording this video, I surprised myself when I saw a non UFC card come up.
It was great seeing him in the All-Star competition this year. He is one of my favorite players and had that old school mentality of toughness, hard work, and not making excuses. Unfortunately, so many of the basketball players today lack those things. Finally, this card was purchased for $19 including shipping on ebay.
Anyways, for the UFC and Karl Malone fans, enjoy!
Valentine’s Day – Ebay Show Off – 2/14/14 – Ronda Rousey 2013 Topps UFC Knockout Triple Threads Book
Happy Valentine’s Day. No better to celebrate V-day by showing off my first Topps Triple Threads book. Even better that this book showcases the talented and gorgeous Ronda Rousey with special props to the martial artists Nick Diaz and Nate Diaz.
I’m showing off a pretty big lot today. This is from the 2013 Topps UFC Knockout line. The lot includes autograph relics of Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, Cung Le, Chris Leben, Phil Davis and Demetrious Mighty Mouse Johnson. The total Ebay cost was $34 including shipping. Another nice group of cards to add to my collection.
Latest Ebay lot to show off. Very happy about my purchases. Ryan Bader Lot was $1.23 including shipping. The 2013 Topps UFC Finest Dual Auto Redemption was $9.75 including shipping. Definitely not the $75 listed on the card protector.
My name is Everett, and I am the blogger for the Flying Armbar. I had to restart my blog because my old blog name UFCsuperfan.com made me worry about potential lawsuits. Since the UFC is a trademarked name, I didn’t want to take any chances, especially with UFC successfully suing an illegal PPV streamer. This is not exactly the same thing, but you never know. As you’ll notice, I’m reposting my blog/youtube entries so the dates might not match up.
So, I changed the name to TheFlyingArmbar.com. It is one of my most favorite moves in martial arts because it is a high risk and high reward type move. If pulled off successfully, it is amazing!
