Check out my recap and commentary of the Cung Le vs. Michael Bisping fight. I also use this opportunity to show off my UFC cards and memorabilia for each fighter.
Masterful performance from Bisping. I say that as a diehard Cung Le fan. I was disappointed that it was such a one sided fight. I’m hoping Cung retires because I hate to see him take such a beat. Props to Bisping for taking care of business in a hostile environment.
I’m excited to show off this huge relic lot that I purchased from Ebay. The cards are between 2010 and 2013 Topps sets. Some are from Bloodlines, Finest, and Main Event.
In part 1, we had a few GSPs, Lyoto Machida, Johny Hendricks, Cung Le, and Phil Davis cards. These are great for autographs, especially the mat relic cards. The gear relic cards tend to bleed. Overall really exciting part 1.
Total price for the entire lot was $61.
I was pretty excited to get this one back. None other than Cung Le. I am a fan of his because he’s been in the martial arts world for so long. I remember watching ESPN late at night and I would see him in San Shou fights and he would always be taking guys down. Then he transitioned to MMA, he did well in Strikeforce and now in the UFC.
I also met him in person a few times. The first thing I noticed was how cut and buff he was. I asked him what his routine was and he said he’s in the gym all the time. Not bad for a guy in his 40s. I hope he fights a few more times before he retires.
I’m showing off a pretty big lot today. This is from the 2013 Topps UFC Knockout line. The lot includes autograph relics of Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, Cung Le, Chris Leben, Phil Davis and Demetrious Mighty Mouse Johnson. The total Ebay cost was $34 including shipping. Another nice group of cards to add to my collection.
